Fixed Fee Conveyancing - Sale

Our fixed-fee for conveyancing on a standard residential house, *unit or land in the Melbourne metropolitan area is $795 and includes the following:

  1.  Preparation of Section 32 Vendor's Statement.  
  2.  Preparation of Contract of Sale.  
  3.  Preparation of Section 27 Deposit Release Statement.  
  4.  Supervision of real estate agent re legal compliance.  
  5.  All conveyancing work as defined in the Legal Practice Act 1996.  
  6.  *Disbursements forming part of the conveyancing work.  
  7.  All legal advice forming part of the conveyancing work.  
  8.  All legal work forming part of the conveyancing work.  
  9.  All office costs (postage, faxes, phone calls, photocopying) forming part of the conveyancing work.  
  10.  Advising lender re Discharge of Mortgage.  
  11.  Obtaining of mortgage "payout figure" from Lender.  
  12.  Booking of settlement with client's bank or lender.  
  13.  Settlement agency fees for settlements in Melbourne CBD.  
  14.  Settlement attendance in Melbourne CBD.  
  15.  Submission of Notices of Disposition.  
  16.  Post settlement follow-up on matters forming part of the conveyancing work.  
  17.  Goods and Services Tax (GST)  

* Where the property is a unit, and an Owners Corporation (Body Corporate) is involved, an extra charge will apply for each Owners Corporation Certificate purchased.

NOTE: Circumstances may sometimes arise where legal work is required that is beyond what is included in our fixed-fee service. We reserve the right to charge additional costs in such circumstances. See our "Conveyancing Costs FAQ" for more information.

All clients receive a full Costs Disclosure Statement and a Costs Agreement as required under the Legal Profession Act 2004.
